We have partnered with Sweetwater on this exclusive series of bass drum beaters, available in all eight Low Boy models. These beaters can be purchased only through Sweetwater.

The Natural with Red Sparkle Stripes finish is available across all eight of Low Boy’s signature beater models. Drummers can choose between the Standard (95g) and Lightweight (80g) weights, with each turned from premium North American hard maple and offered in wood, felt, leather, or lambswool striking surfaces. This versatile combination of weights and materials ensures a tailored feel and tone for players across every genre, from metal and punk to jazz and Americana.

  • Flat Striking Surface – Our not so traditional wood beater design delivers maximum punch and power.
  • Midweight (95 grams) or Lightweight (80 grams) – These perfectly balanced bass drum beaters beater will instantly put your foot at ease.
  • Carbon Steel Rod – Our aerospace-grade chrome-plated steel rods are guaranteed never to bend or break. The 8″ long, 1/4″ diameter steel rods fit in nearly every bass drum pedal built in the last 100+ years.
  • Hand Finished in California – We carefully source every element of our beaters, then finish and assemble them in our Santa Barbara shop. This beater’s red sparkle stripes were handpainted, then finished with non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and food safe tung oil.
  • Laser Engraved Logo – Each beater is laser engraved with the Low Boy logo. No detail is left unperfected
